The Key Lessons:
- Module 1: Introduction. Upon completion of this module, students will be able to describe the purpose of the course and the course structure.
- Module 2 . Gender based Violence (GBV) in the context of mass human rights violations. Module two will introduce students to the concept of GBV. This module will present basic concepts and definitions, and how these are developed around mass human rights violations.
- Module 3. Understanding the Impact: Stories of Women from Different Contexts. This module will describe the impact of GBV and how survivors cope with the consequences. Stories from different countries will be provided as part of this module.
- Module 4 . How TJ mechanisms can promote Gender Justice. This module discusses how to incorporate gender in transitional justice mechanisms, including truth-seeking, justice, reparation and institutional reforms
- Module 5 Final Reflection. This is final module that provides space for personal reflection.
